SMS Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 15 September 2026
Vepsy is a brand of Word Towing Solutions LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company. Throughout this document, “Vepsy”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Word Towing Solutions LLC. Any messaging program, sender identity or telephone number operated under the Vepsy name is operated by Word Towing Solutions LLC.
These are the terms and conditions for the text messaging program operated by Word Towing Solutions LLC under the Vepsy brand. They apply to everyone who receives a message from us, whether or not they have ever used this website. They are published so that anyone — a customer, a contracted provider, or a mobile carrier reviewing our registration — can confirm who sends these messages, who receives them, and exactly how consent is obtained before any message goes out.

Who sends these messages
All messages are sent by Word Towing Solutions LLC, 555 Fayetteville Street, Suite 201-A, Raleigh, NC 27601, operating the Vepsy roadside dispatch platform. Word Towing Solutions LLC is the registered brand behind the messaging campaign and is responsible for every message sent under it.
Why the sender name is not always “Vepsy”
Word Towing Solutions LLC dispatches roadside and towing jobs on behalf ofreferring service businesses — the company a customer actually called for help. Each message is signed with that company’s name, because that is the business the customer believes they are dealing with, and a message signed “Vepsy” would be the confusing one.
The sample messages on this page are signed“Trustworthy Towing Service” for that reason. It is an example of a referring business name, not a separate sender and not a separate company. The messaging platform, the consent record and the legal responsibility are Word Towing Solutions LLC’s in every case.
Who receives these messages
- Customers who have asked for roadside service. Someone who calls a business that dispatches through Vepsy, asks for help, and agrees on that call to receive texts about the job.
- Contracted service providers. Drivers and operators we have onboarded, who supplied their own dispatch number for the purpose of receiving job offers.
We do not buy, rent, import or otherwise acquire phone numbers from third parties. Every number we message was given to us directly by the person who owns it, for the purpose described here.
How consent is obtained
Consent is verbal, and captured during the phone call in which the customer asks for roadside assistance. Before any message is sent, the caller is read the following disclosure in full and must agree to it:
As part of your roadside service, we’ll text you updates about this job at this number — your driver’s ETA, a link to share your location, a link to authorize payment, and one message after the job asking how we did. That’s usually three to six messages for this job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, or STOP at any time to stop the messages. Our terms and privacy policy are at vepsy.com. Do you agree to receive these texts?
The call is recorded and the customer’s agreement is stored with a timestamp against the job record. If the caller does not agree, no messages are sent and the job is handled by voice alone. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of being helped, and never a condition of purchase.
On agreement, the customer receives this confirmation before anything else:
You are now opted in to roadside dispatch updates. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Powered by Vepsy.com
Contracted providers
Providers consent when they are onboarded, at the point they give us the dispatch number they want job offers sent to. They can stop receiving offers by replying STOP, or by telling us to remove the number.
